A round of applause please! Lush...You did it again..what an INCREDIBLE bath bomb! If you haven't tried this outstanding product, then you must be mad! Go grab one..NOW! If you're looking for an astonishing experience whilst you're having a bath, then this was made for you.
When lush first released this bath bomb, it was a lot thinner so it was prone to breaking which wasn't the best thing to happen if you wanted to enjoy the full experience, also the purple of the outer coating was too over powering so you couldn't see much of the other colours. So they have made Northern Lights thicker and packed full of yellow and blue. Once you place it into your bath, on either end of the bomb a blue and yellow starts to seep into the water like a magical river you'd find in Willy Wonkas chocolate factory.
It puts on a sensational show which puts you in a trance! Obviously blue and yellow make green which is what you're left with once it's finished doing its thing..Its not the most beautiful colour but who cares right? It smells good, it's magical to watch, so I'm sure we can let that little flaw go. If you don't believe me on how special this bath bomb is then check out my YouTube demo above!
The scent is not everybody's taste..as we all know every one is different and prefers different smells. But I really like this one as I do enjoy floral fragrances. This enchanting bomb contains Ylang Ylang oil and Jasmine Absolute. The aroma can come across quite strong to some Lushies, but I think its absolutely gorgeous.
Another flaw I'm afraid...(I'll try to ignore it..) If you're like me and you enjoy crushing your lush products..#crushmylush ;) this bath bomb can stain your skin quite easily. But it doesn't take much to get rid of the stains which is a relief. Northern Lights bath bomb was released just before Halloween, and they will be selling it until after Christmas, so stock up as I'm sure we won't see it again until next year. There are lots of different opinions on this bath bomb as I have read some reviews, but I'd say give it a go yourself and see what you think!
