Skin Care Products- Has It Improved My Skin??

So I have been trying Lush skin care products over the last month, so I thought I'd write a blog post about how I am getting on with it all. I will go through each product one by one and tell you what I truly think about it and if it has helped my skin.

9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion-

I really enjoy this product. It isn't overly expensive which is great, and you get your moneys worth! It is a small bottle but it seems to be lasting me a long time! The only thing is that it's a little bit thick, so you do need to use a decent amount so you're able to spread the product across your face, neck etc. It leaves my skin silky smooth but you have to rub the product off with a flannel as it sticks to the skin quite a lot. It has a subtle floral fragrance which I love, but my skin doesn't feel completely clean after using it. For the price it's good, but I think I might try something else next time.

Rosy Cheeks Face Mask

I won't go into too much detail as I have written a review about this face mask (Go check it out!) But I will say, I love this product so much! It feels so good on the skin, it's very refreshing, and it tones which is brilliant. I love the scent of this face mask, but the only think I hate is that it's a fresh face mask so you must use it as soon as possible. Apart from that, It's my favourite!!

Tea Tree Water Toner Water

I am loving this toner! It's the best toner I've used. I spray it directly onto my face and it makes my skin feel so refreshed! It contains tea tree which is antibacterial, grapefruit water which is rich in vitamins and Juniperberry water..Simple but amazing! It makes my skin feel soft and clean, and with the Juniperberry acting like a antiseptic, it gets rid of any dirt left after cleansing which is great to keep my skin nice and clear! I use this daily and I still have a lot left which really impresses me! I will be repurchasing this toner.

Full Of Grace Serum Bar

This is a beautiful product. You rub the serum bar in your hands like you would a massage bar, and let the product melt so you're able to apply it to your body. I've used this on my face as a Lush colleague recommended that I should use this as a part of my skin care regime. It does feel really nice when I massage it into my skin and I find that with the oils it is very moisturizing which is great for the wintry months. The only problem I have with it is that it takes a long time for your skin to absorb the product so it left my skin very oily for a long time. Apparently this is a good base for make up, but I haven't used it yet before applying my make up. I think full of grace will last me quite a while even though it's a little bit pricey. I think that it's a good investment piece. I'm not 100% about it yet..I will get back to you about this product!

Cosmetic Lad Facial Moisturiser

I don't know what to make of this moisturiser. First off this product is for men...apparently (oops). Anyway.. after I realised that, I thought I'd give it a go..As long as it moisturises my skin who cares? It contains calming Aloe Vera, Lavender honey water which soothes, and Marigold which helps with redness in the skin. The consistency is quite thin so it doesn't feel heavy once applied. I'm not overly impressed with Cosmetic Lad. I think It would be perfect to use in the summer when my skin isn't as dry and it's more oily. It feels nice on the skin, and makes it soft, but after an hour or so, or when I start to apply my make up, my dry skin starts to appear which is very frustrating. I don't think I'll buy this again.

Over all I have noticed a slight difference with my skin. I haven't had many breakouts and the dry/oily areas have improved slightly. I think I need to continue and maybe try different products to see what suits my skin better.
